Five photographs a day. Guess the year each was taken.
There are no accounts, no cookies, and no trackers. Your streak, stats, and today's progress are stored only in your browser's localStorage and never leave your device. If anonymous score reporting is enabled, the game sends count-only events (round error and points, with no user identifier, no IP retention, and no fingerprinting) so the daily difficulty can be tuned. Clearing your browser data resets everything.
Every photograph is a public-domain or Creative Commons–licensed work, drawn from institutional archives (Library of Congress, U.S. National Archives, NASA, NOAA, USGS) and the Wikimedia Commons community. Each reveal shows the photographer and license. Credits for today's five photographs are listed below — only today's, so nothing about future puzzles is spoiled. If you are a rights holder with a concern, open an issue on the project repository and the image will be reviewed promptly.

This is a small independent game in playtesting. Feedback is gold: how did the difficulty feel, and did you share your grid?
